This fast-paced role requires the juggling of multiple duties including those related to parking equipment, valet parking operations, revenue controls, phone operations, customer service, staffing, clients and patients.
The Manager of Parking Operations ensures that all account criteria and expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
Staff management and development are a crucial aspect to this position.
The Manager of Parking Operations leads by example as they not only deliver great experiences for patients and visitors, but create a culture of excellence within their teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
The Manager of Parking Operations requires the supervision of multiple service lines:
Valet Parking and Garage Management.
Oversees entire operations of those services including managing team members, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling escalated customer issues, client requests, in addition to other related duties as assigned.
Customer Service Operations Ensures that the guest/patient service experience is delivered consistently on all shifts Manages scheduling, overtime for associates under his/her direct supervision, tip reporting, and timekeeping Efficiently allocates labor resources to support service delivery Works with the Area/District Manager and Human Resources to forecast and plan for seasonal variances in business to ensure proper staffing level Success in this role would look like:
An engaged team eager to provide exceptional service to the patients and visitors of the facility each day A PARCS system and process that maximizes revenue collected for the facility Clients who are delighted with our service and promoters of Beacon Hill Hospitality Hire and Develop a High Functioning Team Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity that enables each employee and the team as a whole to succeed Consciously create a workplace culture that is consistent with Beacon Hill Hospitality's mission, vision and values Assists HQ with the hiring of candidates by interviewing prospects, ensuring all required employee information is accurate and complete Onboard and train new staff in account specific procedures and company policies Conduct performance evaluations that are timely and constructive Handle discipline and termination of employees as needed in accordance with BHH policy Create and manage team schedules and rotations Manage the time and attendance process ensuring team members follow regulations Parking Equipment Maintenance and Inventory Control Serve as direct contact to Parking Equipment Vendor Partner with vendor to coordinate reliability improvements and create a documented preventative and proactive maintenance program Ensure that equipment service calls to Parking Equipment Vendor are responded to in agreed upon time frame and that Vendor maintenance and repair efforts are complete Serve as hospital contact to all parking equipment related issues - communicating any parking issues and present solutions to client contact Maintain adequate parking related supplies (tickets, gate arms, cleaning cards, receipt paper, etc.
) Educate appropriate hospital employees on validation procedures Ensure that parking equipment is in working order (operating properly, adequate tickets, receipt paper, etc.
) and perform preventative maintenance on parking equipment Fiduciary Responsibilities Prepare and submit required daily reports to Beacon Hill HQ and client contact Perform daily cash reconciliation and routine required audits Collect and submit cash deposits from pay-on-foot machines Process exception reports Maintain parking cards and deposits Reconcile and manage the petty cash account Maintains fiscal responsibility by evaluating budgetary needs, reducing expenses, and by conserving and maintaining resources Ensure Operational Excellence and Client Satisfaction Checks in regularly with clients and ensures that the team is exceeding their expectations Oversees and maintains all equipment and uniform needs Handles any escalated customer inquiries and/or complaints.
Complete accident/incident reports Resolves problems constructively and makes decisions using sound and reasonable judgment Prepares account specific procedures.
Oversees procedure compliance Follows site specific safety and security procedures Maintains and protects privacy and confidentiality Required Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):
Possesses exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude The ability to handle critical issues in a timely manner Strong leadership & mentorship skills Ability to deescalate tense situations Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paper Ability to proactively solve problems, but also knows when to ask for help Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in a courteous manner in keeping with the Beacon Hill philosophy Education and Experience High School degree or equivalent.
At least two years related experience preferred Physical Demands and Working Environment (including, but not limited to):
The Manager will be required to stand for most of their shift, walk, sit, reach with hands or arms, talk and hear.
Managers must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 20lbs and be able to wear PPE (personal protective equipment) for the duration of their shift.
The Manager may be subjected to weather conditions prevalent at the time.
The noise level in this work environment can range from minimal to moderate.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
