Supervise and lead the operations of all departments in the organization involved in supply chain and logistics to achieve maximum growth and improve competitiveness. Negotiate contracts and supervise purchase orders to international suppliers. Coordinate the logistics, warehousing, shipping, and export formalities for all retail goods. Implement a database of international suppliers to build up the supply chain department. Maintain relationships with reliable suppliers in the oil and construction sector affiliated with our subsidiary, Disteinsa. Request necessary export licenses with Department of Foreign Trade. Serve as a liaison between the sales department and warehouse to monitor manufacturing processes. Ensure quality control of all purchases prior to customer shipment. Serve as a liaison between Fred, distributors, and international export freight agents which will transport products to customer warehouses. Confer with top executives to prepare organizations annual budget. Communicate with management and user personnel to develop production and design standards.
Require Bachelor Degree in Industrial Engineering from U.S. or accredited foreign college, and at least 5 yrs. of progressive executive experience in Logistic and Distribution. Availability to travel internationally highly required. Must pass credit and background checks. Verifiable references. No smoking.
